Who is this guy, anyhow?

September 11, 2007

And I’m not going tell you who he is.

Why? Because my Google ads keep showing his name it ads. And the ads are for auditory signals used to grab your attention when a person is trying to contact you through the radio based telephony device strapped to your belt (trying not to add to the AdSense fuel)!

Who is this guy? And why are his rington… I mean auditory signals… showing up in my Google ads? Seesh! I noticed that whenever I create a new page, either here or on my studio website, his, um, auditory signals, always show up until Google figures out what the page is for.

I just hope he’s some nasty guy who uses cuss words like conjunctions.

– EDIT –

Huh. Well, now my Google ads are showing the light bulbs again.

Weird.

  1. Brock Cooper Says:

There was once a man I knew who could spend hours playing Wolfenstein and hooking up computer after computer in the high school computer lab so we could all play Doom.

Now, I hear he doesn’t like video games anymore. Wow, it’s amazing what old age and kids can do with you.

I believe the last time I saw you was in the Little Caesers Pizza line in Normal when you were still going to ISU and I was at Wesleyan.

Do you know what else comes with old age? Nostalgia. So here I am 10 years after graduating from the pit of hell that was Havana High School looking up some of my friends from the old days. Stragely, you are the only one I know of with an actual domain name.

So, from what I have glanced on your Web site, you are a Mr. Fixit Guru able to rewire buildings faster than a speeding bullit and play the guitar. (When did you start that?)

you have a plethora of kids and still ham radio, I knew it was in your blood when we were kids. So fill me in on the rest of the 10 years.

Me, I graduated in physics, became a reporter at a daily newspaper for seven years and now work at Argonne National Laboratory as a media relations specialist (Hence, the nice typing ability). I have two kids, three dogs, two cats and a wife.
